we had a really hard time with our first childcare which was a center, Tanya offered our daughter a loving home enviroment and we all loved it.
We sadly moved on to school but would take our other children there in the future.

Owner very unprofessional in dealing with problems. Acts as if she is doing you an awesome service by letting you have your child attend when it is a something you pay her to provide and agree to all stated in the student handbook.

I have been taking my 2 children to this daycare since it opened...not only is this center a place where your children are cared for and watched over, they also follow a ciriculum which has helped my oldest child excell in school...from what i have heard there is many more children that have also excelled above average in school from attending this center...price seems to follow all childcare in surrounding areas...carpets dont seem filthy to me...my child was hungry at pick up time too (because it was supper time anyway duh!!!)...yes they can use the term "teacher" The word Teacher is used to refer to any adult responsible for a group of children in any early childhood program, including infant/toddler caregivers, family child care providers, and specialists in other disciplines who fulfill the role of teacher... from what i understand the "teachers" at this center have monthly trainings, and most have degrees in Early Childhood Education.

Avoid This Provider

My child recieved mediocre care and I paid top dollar. My child was often filthy at pickup and sometimes had a dirty diaper. I never knew which room my child would be in at the end of the day and never knew which person would be watching him. Anyplace is better than play care.

I Was Treated Like Dirt

I was a customer of play care for about a year. During this time I had numerous problems with this daycare including dirty carpets, a frequently dirty diaper at pickup time and dirty toys. My child was frequently sick and I finally had enough and decided to remove my child. I gave 2 weeks notice to the owner on a friday of my intent to remove my child. The owner became irate and yelled at me not to bother bringing my child back on monday! She also did not refund the 2 weeks worth of daycare expenses I had paid for. The owners of this business are unethical and I believe they are crooks.

Not what I see

I have never seen filthy carpets here. Place always looks clean to me. Maybe I need glasses.:( Staff friendly and really good to the kids. Some people just don't get along well with those with authority, maybe you just didn't hit it off with the owner. I've seen the toys being cleaned, so that's not a concern for me. Does you child never get hungry or say "I'm hungry"? When your kids go to school do they get their book covers, crayons etc. free? Mine don't, we have to buy them, hmmmm that's a new thought. Plus we pay taxes to send them to school. What seems to be the difference? Oh well, just my two cents, which I'm sure you don't want.

This Provider Sucks!!!

Overpriced care that cuts corners to make a buck. Filthy carpets and small portions of food. My child would usually be hungry at pick up time. There would also be substitutions to the menu, which was not designed by a dietician. I was concerned about the cleanliness of the toys and everything else there. They call these babysitters "teachers" but none of them have Bachelors degrees. They are just babysitters. My "teacher" even had to buy art supplies because the owners of playcare were too cheap to buy glue sticks and construction paper! When I tried to give the owner my 2 weeks notice to remove my child she yelled at me and said not to come back the next day. What a mean lady! This lady has no business watching children.

Most child care centers are operated in high regards to the regulations put forth my local city, county, and state rules. However some facilities have been found negligent in the past. When evaluating a child care center ask quesions about the age of infants and children accepted, drop in childcare policies, and what childcare solutions are available in your price range. Childcare forms often ask questions about vouchers, tax credits and household income to determine what the rates and overall costs to you are. Childcare workers are ofen certified and highly qualified and licensed to provide assistance to any situation you might need.
