*****  Nasty!

This school/daycare is a horrible place to put ur child. I had a child go their and worked their. I reget that! The daycare toddler room is gross and nasty. They don't clean or take care of the toddlers. Their sippy cups were always had dried up milk in them, and they gave the wrong cup to the kids, and didn't even care. the young girls work back thier always talking crap and on their phones. And why not the director is their mother (of 2 employees) so of course they can do what they want. Do not take our child their it's not what is seems, trust me i know i was their...

I'm a parent who has had at least one child in the Planet Kids Madisonville location since they opened. Unfortunately, most of the good teachers have left on their own. Being in a small town, word gets out and now we have a bunch of unqualified teachers at PKA. Thankfully, all my children are of school age and will no longer attend PKA . . . Sadly, I cannot recommend PKA to any parent.
*****  Warning for Parents of Preschoolers

on Kinder Haus Montessori
I would not reccommend KH to the parents of 2 and 3 year olds. There are some serious problems with what is going on in the preschool classroom. The teachers do not follow KH policies and do not attend to the students. The teachers are not montessori certified and do not always use common sense when dealing with your children. The school seems more worried about their ridiculous rules (tardy policy or dress code...i.e. students can't wear characters on their clothes or underwear) then what is best for kids. I once was involved in a minor hit and run accident on the way to the school. I called the director to tell her that I would be late because I wanted my child checked out by the dr. She told that they would not take me if I was later that 10:30. So I lost a whole day of work because my daycare would not take my child.

For the price you are paying you will not be receiving the care you expect.

My child attended this center from 6 weeks until pre-k. He was always given hugs and kisses each and every day and loved going to school. The director makes all of the parents feel very welcome and keeps you well infomed of how your child is doing in class. I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking. It is not too big and not too small. I knew each and every day that this was the place for my child to be when I could not be with him. It is just a very loving and warm place.

Child Care Information

Most child care centers are operated in high regards to the regulations put forth my local city, county, and state rules. However some facilities have been found negligent in the past. When evaluating a child care center ask quesions about the age of infants and children accepted, drop in childcare policies, and what childcare solutions are available in your price range. Childcare forms often ask questions about vouchers, tax credits and household income to determine what the rates and overall costs to you are. Childcare workers are ofen certified and highly qualified and licensed to provide assistance to any situation you might need.
