i had these people watch my child for 1 week. I thought they were nice and very polite at first. One day i arrived unannounced and my kid was playing in the back yard unsupervised and back door was open. the house sits next to a fairly busy street. a neighbor also warned me that during the day they constantly yell and lots of traffic/people in and out of the house. Just a gut feeling that it's not a safe place.

As I walked into Good Neighbor Montessori, I was in love. Finding the right Preschool for my child has been hard, I have visited many schools in the area and my heart didn't feel the way it did when I entered this one.
My next move is to fill out an application and start as soon as possible. My child felt comfortable and happy here and when he is happy, I am happy.

Staff: poorly qualified and rude. Not a one can communicate in English. Facility: unclean, academics and homework activities are discouraged. Only advantage offered is location, as daycare is on school grounds.

Very happy with the school, my son is 4 and he loves his teacher. He started going to Kangaroo about 4 months ago and since then his learning has improved too, the teacher sits with kids one on one and teaches them, now where else do you see this! Best part about Kangaroo Day Care is that you need not pack any food, they provide all the snacks and lunch, for working mothers like me that is a big plus!

We have been with kangaroo since day one, and never ever did we see anything that was described. The minute our son gets up, first things he asks is "Mommy when are we going to Kangaroo?" If you are looking for a safe, secure "home away from home" where your child can learn, play and grow, then this is the place to be. They have designed a nurturing, creative world for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to help their minds and bodies develop. Watch your infant take the first steps toward a bright future when sharing his or her early developmental experiences. This place is so unique and have their own patterns for play, feeding and sleeping. These patterns guide to introduce daily activities that will prepare your infant for life. The highly trained teachers and staff offer a nurturing and creative environment for children to develop their bodies and minds. Kangaroo Day Care happens to be committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural for you and your child. Our family and friends highly recommend this place!

A non strucute program. Ownder can talk a good talk, however, the program speaks for itself. Non structure pogram, children running, teachers screaming. In the two year old room, its very hard for the teacher to keep an eye on the children, chaing diaper and children running around. Toys everwhere. If parents are seeing this thru the webcam then think twice.

It has some good stuff going, but not much. I liked the date night, where parents could leave their kids until midnight on certain days...that was very cool. Other than that, the place is very mis-managed. It is dirty and the toys are old and not age appropriate. The playground looks like it needs a huge overhaul. I was told by the directress that they would upgrade, but it never happened. A kid broke their arm and the parents were not notified - that's scarry. Also, the place is severely understaffed. FYI - the janitor is used as a teacher...and speaks no english. Just be careful when considering this place. It's ok for a little while, until a better place opens up.

Most child care centers are operated in high regards to the regulations put forth my local city, county, and state rules. However some facilities have been found negligent in the past. When evaluating a child care center ask quesions about the age of infants and children accepted, drop in childcare policies, and what childcare solutions are available in your price range. Childcare forms often ask questions about vouchers, tax credits and household income to determine what the rates and overall costs to you are. Childcare workers are ofen certified and highly qualified and licensed to provide assistance to any situation you might need.
